i can’t stop myself!

by @according2kelly on May 23, 2007

I stole these from my mom’s house, sorry mom! Anyway, i just can’t stop eating them. They are so minty cool… thought you’d like to know. I wonder if I could create a yummy dessert out of them? There are probably a billion recipes already out there, maybe I’ll do a little internet search. Do you know of any recipes involving Andes Mints?

My friend and I went to Olive Garden this week and we were a little disappointed that they only gave us one mint each! For some reason I never buy these though. I guess in my mind they are special restaurant treats, but now I'm reconsidering...I've had the Andes Mint brownies before and they are sooo good.

I've got to take a moment to compose myself after reading this post. The only thing I love better than an andes mint... Is Andes Mint cheesecake! I'll have to dig around for my recipe.

Kelly,I have a recipe of Coozy's (somewhere) that does not use Andes Mints, but you actually make them --- as many as you want. I'll look for it and send it to you.Chris

Yes...Andes mints.Okay, here's what you do:Make your fave brownies--even the boxed ones--like Ghirardelli. Take the brownies out a few minutes early and layer unwrapped A.M. on top and put back in the oven. Let them cool and cut into squares. I could eat the whole pan.
