clove-studded oranges.

who didn’t make these as a kid. i remember looking forward to this project in school, it always made the classroom smell oh so good!

ingredients:
* oranges
* cloves
* ribbon
* toothpicks

directions:
press cloves into oranges in a decorative pattern. push ribbon through top of orange with toothpick. Loop, tie and hang, or display in a dish.

We made these as kids and I wanted to make them this year, but haven’t got around to it- yet. It’s not too late! And they do smell soooo good.

Okay, your oranges put ours to shame! My kids used their cloves to make smiley faces in their oranges!

Mine never look this pretty…but it’s fun to float them in spiced cider!
