(almost) wordless wednesday: homemade goodness

by @according2kelly on August 25, 2010

open my cupboard doors & you’ll find a rainbow of jars filled with all sorts of homemade goodness… jams (raspberry, peach, strawberry, raspberry peach), applesauce, apple pie filling & canned peaches. i guess i finally fulfilled my lifelong dreams of playing little house on the prairie.

I agree with Brandi, your Jar Lids are SO cute! I’ve never canned anything before, but I’ve been thinking about learning how. Looking at how cute they look adds even more motivation than the convenience itself!

Oh Kelly how beautiful they look! Apple pie filling sounds perfect for all those apples that are already falling from my trees – never thought of this great idea for preserving them. How I wish we could get those “Quilted Crystal” jars here in the UK – they look so pretty.

Oh! I love those labels! I’m trying to get brave and can salsa and jam. Maybe even some peaches and tomatoes.
