i recently went on an trip adventure of epic proportions. along with angry julie & the-infamously-pretty tiffany, we ate a lot, tweeted even more, & spent an entire weekend chit chatting about blogging.
late night road trips, fine dining (at the golden corral), country music blasting on the radio, snacking on reese’s & candy cane hershey’s kisses, four different hotel stops before finally arriving at the “shiney beacon of light” (broken water heater in one, un-mentionables found in the beds of the 2nd, scary trucker serial killers at the 3rd, but the 4th hotel was just right).
cupcakes for breakfast (thanks to retro bakery, i think i literally dies & went to cupcake heaven), a leisurely drive through the gorge, lunch at the cracker barrel, a target shopping spree, polygamist sightings, dinner at the pasta factory followed by sno cones & karoaking at the honolulu grill, late night snack at the iceberg (amazing onion rings & a super-duper-thick black raspberry shake, oh my!), lots of girl talk with a few cupcakes on the side.
more cupcakes for breakfast, followed by the always-amazing bloggy boot camp “think tank” (coming soon to a town near you), a lip-smacking-good dinner (in celebration of angry julie’s birthday) & a cupcake or two, hundred dollar bets involving gas station sushi, lots of dr. pepper, & big poker winnings at the gas-n-go. phew! i warned you – it really & truly was an adventure of epic proportions. rumor has it, there is even talk of a movie…

Sounds like a BLAST, well except for some of the hotel experiences!!! Ha! Oh well, I guess stuff like that is what memories are made of
