I lined the cigar box by gluing patterned paper to the inside. The personalized stationery + tag for the outside of the box was created with Adobe Illustrator but you could use any word processing program and handwriting fonts from Dafont.com.
Packaging the elements sweetly with pretty ribbon and bakers twine adds the perfect finishing touch.
The best thing about these kits? They’re really versatile. Last year I created similar kits for my nieces and they loved them! Need more gift giving ideas? Visit my “projects” page for more inspiration.
Thanks for having me, Kelly!

What a great idea! I’m moving to Australia in November, so I could make these to give to all my friends here in Vancouver!

This is such a fab idea. I need to file this one away… I love the idea for teachers’ gifts, too.
