maybe it was the sparkle. perhaps it was because i was running with my best friends. or maybe it was the lure of the pancake breakfast…

but this 4th of july i ran my fastest 5K ever, finishing in 21 minutes & 10 seconds.

earning me 3rd place in my age group, & making me 4th woman overall. not too shabby.

Yay! Way to go! It had to be even more fun give you AND friends you had woth you all did well! Whee! I had my best 5k too, although still 15 minutes slower than yours ;). Hehe. Congrats!

i have trail races coming up & then the Hood to Coast Relay at the end of August. The summer is pretty slow. Although, my mountain bike races pick back up in August!
