one of my favorite must-do’s at the walt disney world resort isn’t a thrilling ride, an exciting attraction, or a noisy parade. in fact, it’s practically the complete opposite of all those things…
relaxing, rejuvenating & absolutely calming – the senses spa at the grand floridian resort is a little slice of disney heaven.
when i arrived at senses spa, i immediately knew that life as i knew it, would forever be changed – at least for the day, that is.
this full-service spa is elegant, modern, with just a touch of disney magic.
the senses spa invites guests to experience a “journey” that engages each & every one of your senses. flavorful & soothing juices, color variations in lighting, disney orchestral music, with citrus & botanical aromatherapy.
with 15 treatment rooms, an extensive “menu” of services (including massages, facials, body treatments, pedicures & manicures) there’s something for everyone. have i mentioned that all of the product lines are organic & vegan?!
there’s even a “kids menu” for the littlest spa-goers which includes “magical manicures” & “princess pedicures.”
wrapped in a luxurious robe, kicking back on a heated lounger (yes! i said heated), surrounded by peace & quiet – the senses spa is an ideal getaway…
whether it’s for an hour or the entire day.
take a dip in the whirlpool (don’t forget to look for the hidden mickey’s on the beautiful mosaic tile wall), indulge on miniature carrot zucchini cupcakes (or dark chocolate banana, depending on season), sip on cucumber-basil infused water… it’s the perfect vacation from your vacation.

* take your time at the senses spa – don’t rush the “journey.”
* the rejuvenating citrus facial was absolutely divine.
* but honestly, i could spend an entire afternoon just taking advantage of the steam room, whirlpool & heated lounges.
to schedule a little “ME” time at the senses spa call (407) WDW-SPAS or (407) 939-7727 as far in advance as possible.
