hand stamped trivets

Hello all According to Kelly readers!  My name is Angie and I blog at The Country Chic Cottage and Crafts with Jars.  I am thrilled to be here today with my handmade gift tutorial.  My hand stamped trivets are a perfect gift on their own or paired with a kitchen gift set.

For this project you will need:

  • Stamp
  • Stamp Ink
  • Cork Trivets
  • Tile
  • Rubber Feet
  • E-6000 or other strong adhesive

I used some tiles from the home improvement store and added non slip feet to the bottom of both tiles.  Use E-6000 or another super adhesive for applying these feet.  You don’t want them to come off.

I then stamped the cork and added that to the top of both tiles.  Again use E-6000 or another high quality adhesive to adhere your cork to the tiles.  I would also recommend Staz-On or another high quality ink so your trivets don’t smear when wet.  Allow your adhesive to completely cure before touching or using these trivets.

These are a super simple handmade gift that you can give to any cook on your holiday gift list.  Just change up the stamp to suit the recipient.  Make these hand stamped tile trivets for someone on your holiday gift list today.  Thanks so much Kelly for having me.  Y’all stop by the cottage anytime for a visit.
